Sakleshpur or Sakleshapura is a hill station town and headquarters of Sakleshpur taluk in Hassan district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is located at 12.943°N 75.775°E. It has an average elevation of 933 m (3,061 ft) above mean sea level The town lies in the Malnad region on the hills of the biodiversity hotspot, the Western Ghats. It was the early capital of the Hoysala kings in 11th-century and remained a second capital through the 14th-century. Coffee is a annual crop and the harvest is usually taken up in March or April every year. You will receive returns from this harvest in either of these two months.
